Donation to British Lung Foundation

Dear Darren,
On behalf of the team at the British Lung Foundation’s Scotland office, I write to acknowledge the generous donation of £1,500 and express our thanks and appreciation for it. We are the only UK charity looking after the nation’s lungs. We offer hope, help and a voice; and we do this through our publications, our Helpline and by investing in world-class research to understand, treat and prevent lung conditions. Your generosity will allow us to reach our goal that, one day, everyone will breathe clean air with healthy lungs.
It was a great honour to be invited to the Crematorium’s annual Carol Service to receive the donation from you. It was deeply moving to hear about the loved ones that those attending the service had lost during the year, and to see the touching messages left on the Christmas tree during the service. We recognise the very personal nature of the donation you made on behalf of the families who have lost loved ones and, with your support, we will continue to strive for the day when no-one has to lose someone close to them to a lung condition.
Thank you again for making a positive difference to the lives of people with lung conditions across Scotland by choosing to support us.
